COME OUT AND PLAY THIS FALL!

PGLC Fall Clinics
 
Dates:  Saturdays: 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24 (rain date: 10/31)

PGLC is excited to announce our 6-week fall clinic for girls in grades 3rd-8th beginning on Saturday, Sept 19.  Betsy Dougherty, an All-American attacker at Penn State, member of the U.S. World Cup gold medal team, National Lacrosse Hall of Famer and current  Director of Lacrosse at Centercourt, will be running the fall clinics. Sessions which will consist of 30 mins of stick work and drills, followed by 45 mins of small-sided team play.  
 
 NOTE: Safety protocols recommended by US Lacrosse Return to Play will be followed and temperature screening will be administered before each session.
 
  • Players will be required to wear a mask to and from the field and will have the option to wear masks during training. 
  • We will have hand sanitizer available for use upon arrival
  • Players must bring their own equipment, stick, goggles, mouthguard, water bottle, sunscreen, cleats, etc. and secured in their own backpack. 
  • There will be no sharing of any equipment between players or coaching staff. 
  • Balls will be provided for players during the session, however, no player is to touch a ball with her hand. All pick-ups are by stick only. 
  • We recommend that players are ready to train with all necessary equipment on prior to stepping out of their car.
  • Space will be marked to designate areas where players will drop off their gear  to avoid player hang out areas.
  • Field will be set up with cones distanced 6 ft apart and players will be assigned to a cone to start her practice. 
  • Masks will be worn by coaches and will be the only ones allowed to touch equipment ie balls, cones, goals etc.
  • DROP OFF: Parents should bring their player to designated drop-off zones and begin to line up in cars. 
  • Parents are encouraged to remain in their car and are discouraged from gathering amongst themselves in the parking lot. 
  • PICK UP: Players will be escorted maintaining proper distance protocol to a designated pick-up zone and wait until the parent’s car pulls in for pick up.
